Besides Tata EVs, luxury automakers also offer electric cars. India’s electric vehicle market, however, is only just beginning and many more additions are possible. As a reminder, we’ve compiled a quick list of upcoming electric vehicles in India that we anticipate will be launched sometime in the next year.
Tata Tiago EV:
Tata Altroz EV:
Mahindra eXUV300:
The Mahindra eXUV300, which was also showcased at Auto Expo 2020, is the other Mahindra EV we expect to see within the next year. Mahindra’s eXUV300 electric SUV will be offered with two battery options and will be based on the Mahindra Electric Scalable and Modular Architecture (MESMA). The Mahindra eXUV300 long-range model could offer a driving range of about 400 km on a single charge, while the model with the smaller battery model will likely offer a driving range of about 300 km per charge. According to our estimates, Mahindra eXUV300 electric SUV prices in India may start from ₹12.5 lakh, however, this is not confirmed.
